The Mini Reykjavik Edition with 3 Lenses, from the Lomography Lomo Instant Mini collection, lets you take multiple-exposure instant snapshots, experiment with long exposures, and be creative with light painting or shooting sliced-and-diced photos. There are three modes for different shooting possibilities. The camera features an ultra-advanced lens system for experimentation with creative angles.
Optics and Focus
This camera from Lomography has an Ultra-Advanced Lens System, which is wide-angled and compatible with multiple lens attachments. The 27 mm built-in wide-lens lets you capture subjects in great detail and close shots with its 0.4 m closest focusing distance. The Fisheye Lens Attachment lets you take 170° circular snapshots. The versatile Portrait Lens Attachment is equivalent to a 35 mm lens and suitable for shooting portraits, street, and landscape shots. For close-up and personal shots of up to 10-15 cm, use the Close-up Lens. The lenses also give you the option to click brighter and detailed shots with apertures of f/8, f/11, f/16, f/22, and f/32. The film is exposed across a 42 mm x 64 mm area with exposure adjustments of +2/-2 to give you a superb shot in light or darkness. The shutter operates at a speed of 1/125th of a second. With the Lomo'Instant’s B setting, you can have light-streaked images. For this you would need to hold the shutter open, as long as required. This setting is apt for night or light painting shoots.
Image and Video
The Lomo Instant Mini Reykjavik Edition has a Fujifilm Instax Mini film for splendid scenic shots. There are 3 modes to choose from, viz., Flash-On Auto Mode with f/16 default aperture for on-the-go shoots, Flash-On Manual Mode for indoors with adjustments between daytime and night or dim-light shoots, and Flash-Off Manual Mode for long exposures at night. You can also use the color gel filters to alter tones of the images.
