Overview
The Lomography Diana F+ Black Jack is a simple, medium-format camera that offers a combination of stylish looks and an intuitive user interface. It features a detachable 75 mm lens that captures photos either in the pinhole mode or in three apertures. The lens is equipped with a zone focusing system that brings your subjects in focus in a quick and easy manner. Apart from looking retro, the Diana F+ flash, which can be attached to the camera via a metal plug connection, lets you shoot your subjects conveniently even in the dark. The color gel filters are useful for getting a different look and feel from your pictures.
Optics and Focus
The Diana F+ features a detachable 75 mm lens that captures photos either in the pinhole mode or in three apertures. It is also equipped with a zone focusing system that brings your subjects in focus in a quick and easy manner. The three focusing zones included in this camera are 6.6-13.1 feet, 3.3-6.6 feet, and 13.1 feet to infinity. The shutter lock function is useful for performing sharp, long exposures. The shutter has two speeds--a regular daytime shutter and a bulb long exposure for shooting in the night and dim-light situations.
Sensor and Screen
The Diana F+ from Lomography comes with a built-in viewfinder that lets you view your scene with immense clarity while capturing your subjects.
Image and Video
This camera is designed to be used with a 120 format film roll that allows you to click high-quality photographs. The multiple shooting modes are useful for capturing either 16 or 12 shots on a single roll. This is possible by capturing in either 1.7 x 1.7-inch or 2 x 2-inch frames. The color gel filters are useful for getting a different look and feel from your pictures. Furthermore, the Endless Panorama lets you place sequential frames right next to each other for a continuous image capture.
Other Features
Apart from looking retro, the Diana F+ flash, which can be attached to the Lomography Diana F+ via a metal plug connection, lets you shoot your subjects conveniently even in the dark. Finally, this camera features a 1/4"-20 tripod mount.
