It features a camera mounting screw and dual 1/4"-20 tripod sockets for mounting the HoodLoupes. Use the onboard hex tool to make vertical and horizontal adjustments. The connected upright column conveniently attaches to the optional HoodLoupe. The brass knob comes in handy for moving the horizontal quick-release in and out, thus enabling you to remove or attach the Loupe from the assembly. Constructed from milled black anodized aluminum, the base plate is durable. Additional features of this base plate include a camera sling strap attachment point, anti-twist bars, and a hand strap slot.
