Overview

The GoPro MAX 360 Action Camera is specially designed to take panoramic photos & videos, without manually panning your camera. The MAX 360 Camera uses opposite-side lenses, allowing it to capture a 360° view at a maximum video resolution of 4992 x 2496, & maximum image resolution of 5760 x 2880. After taking a photo or video, it is automatically stitched in the camera, for editing & sharing capabilities. The GoPro MAX 360 can also use a single lens, for the traditional GoPro HERO experience, to capture wide-angle action shots & videos.

Optics:

The GoPro MAX 360 Action Camera uses opposite-side lenses, in order to provide a 360° view, while still providing the option for traditional GoPro HERO, wide-angle-style shooting.                   

Focus:

"HyperSmooth" is featured in the GoPro MAX 360 to provide smooth stabilization, & works with "horizon leveling" to provide steady footage, in both 360 & HERO modes.

The MAX 360 Action Camera is able to capture 5.7K photos, & features in-camera stitching for sharing & editing purposes. The camera features PowerPano 360° panorama, & standard GoPro HERO shooting angles, for even more creative opportunities. Scene Detection is featured to recognize scene-types, & a photo-timer is also included. The GoPro app is even able to reframe your 360° footage into the traditional 2D-form if necessary. Narrow, Linear, Wide, & Max SuperView, are the four included lens sizes to choose from, to meet your needs.

Video:

Spherical 5K video, as well as spherical audio, can be recorded, & the GoPro MAX 360 features six microphones, which provides a surround-sound playback. A TimeWarp mode is featured, & allows you to record in the traditional HERO mode with a variable speed function, which lets you slow down, then speed up your footage in a single tap. HEVC video format, which is designed to record very small files while preserving image quality, is supported by the MAX 360 Action Camera, & helps to save space on your memory card (Sold Separately).
