Epson has created Cold Press Natural Paper for fine art photographers looking for a matte medium with a wide color gamut and great brightness. This paper has a textured matte feel and is made from 100% cotton rag using a cold press production technique. The 340 gsm weight, 21 mil thickness, and 98% opacity give this paper the look and feel of a truly fine art paper. This media will also have a more natural coloring due to the absence of optical brightening additives. Cold Press Natural is pH buffered and free of acid, lignin, and chlorine, making it ideal for long-term use.
