Overview

The Canon PIXMA G6020 Wireless MegaTank All-In-One Printer is specially designed to eliminate the need for stacks of ink cartridges by using an integrated ink tank system that makes refilling a simple task. The tank system provides an outstanding 6000 black, or 7700 color prints from just one set of fresh ink bottles. This PIXMA model also includes a full set of inks, as well as an extra pair of black ink bottles, providing you with another 12,000 black prints. The ink reservoirs are clearly visible, due to the placement at the front of the PIXMA G6020, making it easy for you to never run low. The PIXMA G6020 features printing, copying, and scanning functions, making it a wireless, all-in-one printer.

The PIXMA G6020 features a reliable inkjet system, which provides a resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi, allowing it to provide sharp text, as well as vivid images. With rated speeds of 13ipm in black and 6.8 ipm in color, the G6020's system is able to work at a high quality level, and a fast pace. The G6020 features a 250-sheet input tray, as well as a 100-sheet rear paper tray in order to take on larger printing jobs. You can create borderless photos from a variety of standard media sizes, from 3.5x3.5" to 8.5x14". The unit's flatbed scanner allows for scanning and copying, and features an optical resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi to provide sharp and detailed images. Its built-in Wi-Fi connectivity is designed to support a number of mobile printing protocals, including Google Cloud Print, Apple AirPrint, Mopria, and Canon's "PRINT" app.

The flatbed scanner features an optical resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi and scans images up to 8.5 x 11.7". The scan feature includes auto scan mode, document removal reminder, network scan, wireless scanning, scan to PC, scan to Canon "PRINT" app, and Multi-Page PDF. The copier function features a first copy out time of 20 seconds, and allows for up to 99 copies to be printed at a single time. The copy function features include 4-on-1/2-on-1 copy, borderless copy, duplex 2-sided copy, document removal reminder, ID card copy, and standard copy.

I bought the Canon 6020 last year because of high cost of printer ink for every other printer I'd ever owned. This printer has performed far beyond my hopes and expectations. I have printed over 3500 sheets of paper most on both sides and nearly 100 photos on photo paper 5x7 and 8x10 and the reservoirs of ink that I filled with the ink that CAME WITH THE PRINTER are still half full and I still have the 2 extra 170.0ml black refills that also came with the printer! The automatic paper feed on the back works perfectly as does the front drawer paper feed that tells you when its out of paper. I havent had to perform any trouble shooting or maintenance yet. I recommend this printer to all my friends and family and to you. Don't be fooled by cheaper printers...you'll be buying cartridges constantly that are nearly empty at purchase and will tell you they are empty before they are. Ink cartridges are coded once your printer logs them as empty you can't refill them or do anything but replace them...at very high prices. I found large replacement bottles for my Canon 6020 online for around $8,00 each for the huge bottles of ink. I haven't had to order more yet. The box said I had enough ink for a year of printing. I print quite a lot so I was sure I would be buying before the year was up but to my surprise they were right! Buy this printer or any other Canon with the deep ink reservoirs and you won't be disappointed. I haven't even mentioned all the other features, flatbed scanner, high resolution, copier. Wi-Fi, and so much more!
