The ring-type ultrasonic autofocus motor (USM) offers a fast, quiet, and precise auto focusing, as well as predictive tracking.The manual focus override function facilitates a precise manual focus control even when you are shooting in the AF mode. Also, the Image Stabilizer provides an effect equivalent to a shutter speed that is three stops faster during hand-held shooting.
