OVERVIEW

The Canon EOS 90D DSLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM Lens is a DSLR camera, with a high-resolution 32.5 Megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, which achieves enhanced resolution, image clarity, & dynamic range. With sensitivity up to ISO 25600, as well as low noise, this camera is suitable for working in a variety of lighting conditions.

Optics & Focus:
The Canon EOS 90D DSLR comes with a Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM Lens, which is an APS-C-format standard zoom lens, with a 28.8-88mm equivalent focal length range to cover wide-angle to portrait-length perspectives. The lens features an aperture range of f/4 to f/32, as well as one aspherical element, which is designed to reduce distortion & spherical aberrations throughout the zoom range. A Super Spectra coating is featured to minimize ghosting & flare, providing greater contrast & color neutrality in strong lighting conditions. An O.I.S. (optical image stabilizer) helps to minimize the appearance of camera shake by up to four shutter speed stops, which assists with working in low-light conditions & with slower shutter speeds. It also features an STM stepping AF motor for smooth, near-silent AF performance, & a rounded seven-blade diaphragm for a smooth & pleasing bokeh quality.
 
The EOS 90D features a 45-Point All Cross-Type AF, which provides quick & precise focusing in difficult lighting conditions (down to -3EV). When combined with telephoto lenses, fitted with extenders, 27 of the points are capable of focusing down to f/8, & the center dual cross-type provides increased precision at brighter aperture values. The cross-type design provides greater accuracy in low-contrast & difficult lighting conditions, & the coverage of the 45 sensors is beneficial towards tracking & maintaining focus on moving subjects. The AF area selection modes feature single-point AF, Zone AF, Large Zone AF, & 45-point AF auto selection. Dual Pixel CMOS AF is employed when recording video, or shooting in live view, & features 5481 selectable autofocus points.

The Canon EOS 90D features a high-resolution 32.5MP APS-C CMOS sensor, & is capable of providing imagery with remarkable clarity & dynamic range, as well as a broad ISO range of ISO 100-25600. It also features low noise to support working in low-light situations. The combination of the sensor & image processor is designed to realize fast performance throughout the camera, & provides continuous shooting at up to 10 fps, UHD 4K 30p video recording, & high-speed Full HD 1080p video at 120 fps.

The 3.0" (1.04m-dot) LCD Touchscreen Monitor, which features a vari-angle design, enables the ability to work from higher & lower angles. Its touchscreen design provides control over menu navigation & touch-to-focus operation.

Image & Video:
The Canon EOS 90D is designed to capture images with high clarity, resolution, & dynamic range with a sensitivity of up to ISO 25600. The camera is able to output UHD 4K30p & Full HD 120p video, while supporting continuous stills shooting rates up to 10fps. 4K time-lapses can be produced, as well as 4K frame grabs, for effectively shooting 8 MP stills, at up to 30fps.
