The EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM features one fluorite and five UD elements for increased optical quality and reduced chromatic aberration. It has a minimum focusing distance of 1.2m/3.9 ft. at all zoom settings, which is useful for photographers in smaller spaces trying to get closer to a subject. It features a next-generation Optical Image Stabilizer, providing up to 4 stops of correction at all focal lengths. And as with all L-series lenses, the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM is dust- and moisture-resistant and designed for use in the challenging environments typical of rigorous professional use.

Canon EF 70-200mm lens
I must say that the experts have come firing all cylinders with this Canon telephoto lens. I'm a full time wildlife and sports action photographer and for my usage, the Canon EF 70-200mm lens is a sheer delight. The improved image stabilization and optics are right up there at the top. The thing that I loved the most of this lens is the superb DOF. I have been using this lens for more than a year, and it gives all other lenses a run for their money. If you are looking to elevate your game to the next level, this is surely apt for you.

Canon Zoom Telephoto Lens
I have been using a Canon EF 70-200mm F/2.6L II USM for some time now and have come to appreciate its speed and sharpness the most out. The ease of use is another great factor with the Canon EF 70-200mm F/2.6L II USM lens. I prefer the turning ring for zooming over the push-pull function that some other zoom lenses have. Thanks to the turning ring, I can zoom much faster with specific framing. I recently shot an outdoor procession, where I needed rapid and multiple changes in focal length to capture all the action, and this lens exceeded my expectations.

Quality Lens
There are several reasons as to why this lens is one of the most used lenses in my kit. Top on the list is how fast and sharp this lens is. Also, it is built so well that I don’t have to worry too much even with a heavy weight. And in any case, the quality and performance of this lens more than makes up
for the weight. Every time I review the shots I take with this lens, I am reminded of how valuable this purchase has been. I got a Canon EF 70-200mm F/2.6L II USM with a protective UV lens for good measure.

Great image quality
The Canon EF 70-200mm lens is designed and manufactured to shell out noticeably sharper images than its predecessor. The image quality is razor sharp. And, if you are a Bokeh enthusiast, this Canon telephoto lens is a dream one for you. I recently nailed a cover shot for the magazine I was working for. You could even capture the glistening in the subject’s eyes. If you are considering a purchase for the first time, this lens can be one of the best ones in the market. It lives up to the price for sure.

Little expensive but value for money
A friend has been using the Canon EF 70-200mm lens for more than a year. Though I thought it would be better to rent it before purchasing. And, to my utmost delight, this Canon telephoto lens exceeded all my expectations. It might be expensive, but it is well worth the price. I bought it to go with my new 5DmkIII and my well used 7D and is a perfect fit with both. I know some people may get second thoughts with the high pricing. But, the image quality and performance it delivers is worth every single buck.

Best for photographers
I am a wedding photographer, and the Canon EF 70-200mm F/2.6L II USM has become my go-to lens for all my wedding photography projects. The reason I always carry it around is because it focuses real fast and sharp, delivering very high quality pictures. While I would generally take over 2000 RAW shots on a wedding eve, I now take some 800 shots with this lens. So, as heavy as this lens is, I always keep it handy. The Canon EF 70-200mm F/2.6L II USM lens also has a solid build, and I don’t have any complaints with it in terms of construction or performance.

Can be used with a tripod
The Canon EF 70-200mm F/2.6L II USM gets full points from me for functionality and performance.As for the build, the lens is heavy but has a sturdy body. Since I’m not blessed with very strong hands, I usually use it with a tripod. The sharpness is wonderful, and I am still amazed by how quick the lens is. When I’m using it handheld, the IS functionality is impressive. I use this lens for multiple purposes. I do portrait shoots with the Canon EF 70-200mm F/2.6L II USM while at other times, I also
use it to capture sports events.

highest quality lens
I recently took up photography on a semi-pro level, and I was looking for a popular portrait zoom lens: a 70–200mm. A couple of friends recommended that I should go with Tamron. However, I opted to buy the Canon EF 70-200mm lens as I have been using Canon telephoto lens for years. And, boy this one did not disappoint. It's one of the highest quality lenses I have come across. The build and design is also very sturdy and stylish. A definite recommendation to all fellow photographers.

great image stabilization quality
I recently purchased the Canon EF 70-200mm lens online. I only wish I would have bought it sooner! I've owned this Canon telephoto lens for about a month and it has just blown me away with its image stabilization quality. The sharpness, color, contrast and Bokeh effects are stunning. The images from this lens can be compared with the prime lens in the market. I replaced my 24-105L with these recently. I would recommend that pair it up with a crop sensor and you've got an even more powerful zoom. A big thumbs up.

Versatile Lens
The Canon EF 70-200mm F/2.6L II USM sure comes at a premium price, but it gives such value for money! I use this lens with my 6D and 5D mk3 for capturing both stills and videos. This lens focuses faster and better than any other lens that I have. When you pair this lens with the camera body and use a battery grip, it gets can be heavy. The lens is extremely versatile and delivers such amazing bokeh. It allows me to experiment with the depth of field and works well even in low light conditions.

Best Buy For The Serious Photographer
This is one of the outstanding lenses in Canon's lineup. Sharp as tacks and very quiet. I feel as do many of friends who have used the other manufacture's lens of the same focal length that this lens out performes it's major competitors. The lens is a very solid one and it's weight is reflective of this.Unique Photo's price for this lens was better than any I could find.
