Overview

The Canon EF 600mm f/4L IS III USM Lens is ideal for wildlife and sports photography. You can fit the lens to full-frame DSLRs. For APS-C crop sensors, the lens provides a focal length of 960mm. The lens design comprises 17 elements in 13 groups. There are Super UD and fluorite elements as well as aspherical glasses to maintain color accuracy and edge-to-edge sharpness. The optical elements have a super spectra coating to suppress ghosting and lens flare. With the ring-type Ultrasonic Motor, the lens can focus down to a minimum distance of 4.2 m while remaining silent. You can set the sensitivity level for the focusing ring. Recall the programmed focus position with the focus preset function. The Optical Image Stabilizer comes with three unique modes that are made for assisting when taking a single shot, capturing panning shots, and adjusting the exposure. With the 9-blade diaphragm, the lens offers smooth bokeh quality in the background. You can attach optional EF 1.4× and EF 2× teleconverters to the lens for extending its focal length. This L-series lens has a weather-sealed design that keeps dust and moisture away. A removable tripod collar is provided with the lens to support it when mounted on a stand.
