Overview

The B+W 58mm Kaesemann High Transmission Circular Polarizer MRC Filter helps to reduce reflections and glares. It filters out light that has been polarized due to it being reflected from a non-metallic surface. It arranges, and filters, directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light to allow for maximum absorption. The filter helps to clear up hazing in distant landscapes and provide more saturation and vivid colors. This being a circular polarizer, it has an added advantage over linear polarizers as there will not be any disruptions and errors when using the autofocus and exposure functions. It has a 2 to 2.8x filter factor that reduces exposure by 1 to 1.5 stops, which is better than conventional filters that offer exposure reduction up to 3 stops.
