The B+W 43mm Kaesemann High Transmission Circular Polarizer MRC Filter minimizes reflections and glares by filtering out polarized light that reflects off non-metallic surfaces. The filter arranges the polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light to allow for better absorption, resulting in a noticeable reduction in glares and reflections. The circular polarizer contains a quarter wave plane in addition to the linear polarizing filter. The quarter wave plane allows the use of autofocus and exposure functions. The filter includes Kaesemann HTC polarizing foils, and they are placed between plano-parallel optical glass. To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, each optical glass surface has an anti-reflective coating. The filter substrate even has a multi-resistant coating that helps it to stay clean for longer.
