The inner stepping motor remains noise-free while focusing on an object from a minimum distance of 5 cm. The seven aperture blades are rounded to create a smooth bokeh in the blurred background. Enable the optical image stabilization to reduce camera shakes when shooting with a zoomed-in focal length. The front thread of the lens accepts a 52mm circular filter.
