We'll take you to the next step in crafting great photographs, with details about the advanced controls in your camera and how to use them in real-life situations.

Many examples of great images bring the cameras features to life in this event. Well demystify your cameras histogram, give details about lighting and exposure control, and show the power that the rightlenses and EOS Speedlites can bring to your photography.
During this course you will:
- Discover many of the advanced features on your camera, and how they can be used for great pictures
- Learn creative techniques in composition, camera control, and flash with EOS Speedlites
- Explore the possibilities of the EOS system, and gain insight into selecting and using the right accessories for your photography

Any Canon EOS owner (or potential owner) who wants to learn more about the features and potential of their camera and accessories, and learn essential concepts of photography
What should I bring?
Feel free to bring your camera and instruction manual, but it is not required. Each attendee will receive a detailed Participant Guide, with valuable information about each topic covered during the Discovery Day class, along with space to take your own notes.

Enter the world of the digital SLR and learn about your camera, and how to make great pictures with it. We'll take you out of automatic, but we wont overload you with too much detail.
SHOOTING SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHY WITH YOUR CANON EOS

Instructed by Canon's Tech Rep, find out how to better capture sports and action shots with your Canon EOS camera!
INTRO TO THE CANON FLASH SYSTEM
Sunday, March 9th (3:00pm - 5:00pm)
Instructed by Canon's Tech Rep, this course teaches you how to use your EOS camera with Canon Speedlites. You will learn how to modify light with on-camera flash, off-camera flash, as well as the setup and use of wireless IR transmission system.
