Why doesn’t my flash keep TTL settings over Neewer FC16 wireless triggers?

I’m using a Nikon D3200 with a Neewer/Voking VK750 II flash off-camera via Neewer FC16 trigger and receiver. When the flash is mounted directly on the camera hot shoe, TTL works normally. But over the FC16 wireless trigger, the flash only fires and does not follow the camera’s ISO or aperture settings for automatic flash exposure. Is this expected behavior? Do I need different triggers for TTL, and how would I add a second off-camera flash to the same setup?

The FC16 is not TTL capable, it is only a manual trigger/receiver and it doesn't transmit any data other than the firing signal. If you want automatic power adjustments based on ISO/Ap then you need TTL capable trigger/receiver. And it you want to add another flash you need a second receiver for it.

Yes—this is normal for the FC16. Those triggers are manual-only: they transmit only the basic fire/sync signal, not Nikon i-TTL communication.
That’s why the flash will fire off-camera, but it won’t receive the camera data needed for TTL power adjustment, ISO/aperture-based automation, high-speed sync, or other hot-shoe communication. When the flash is mounted directly on the camera, all the hot-shoe contacts are connected, so TTL works.
If you want the flash to automatically adjust based on camera settings, you need Nikon i-TTL-compatible wireless triggers and receivers (or a flash system with built-in TTL radio support).
To add a second off-camera flash with your current FC16 setup, you would typically need another receiver for that flash. Keep in mind it would also be manual-only unless your wireless system supports TTL across all units.
