Does the CowboyStudio NPT-04 receiver use a standard hot shoe mount?

I'm comparing budget wireless flash triggers and want to know how the CowboyStudio NPT-04 receiver mounts. Some receivers only attach via a 1/4" tripod thread, which means needing extra stand adapters. Does the NPT-04 receiver slide onto a standard hot shoe/cold shoe, and does it also have a 1/4" threaded socket on the bottom?

Both the trigger and the receiver use standard hot shoe mounts. I mount it on a hot shoe to lightstand adapter with the flash on top.
I actually never noticed the 1/4" threaded hole at the bottom!

Yes. According to the community answer, both the CowboyStudio NPT-04 transmitter and receiver use standard hot shoe-style mounts. The receiver can be mounted on a hot shoe/cold shoe light-stand adapter, with the flash mounted on top.
The answer also notes that there is a 1/4" threaded hole on the bottom, so it appears to offer both mounting options. That makes it more flexible than units that only use a tripod thread.
