How can I mount a Sony-foot Nissin i60A on a light stand for off-camera use?

I have a Nissin i60A with the Sony multi-interface/multi-function foot, and I want to use it off-camera as a remote slave flash with a Nissin Air 10s on my Sony A7 III. Wireless pairing works, but I’m stuck on the physical mounting.

Most of the cold shoe adapters and 1/4-20 stand mounts I already own are for the standard ISO hot shoe and don’t fit the Sony foot properly. What kind of mount or bracket should I use to attach this flash securely to a light stand?

Using a bracket (e.g., the Godox S2 bracket) that secures a speedlight by its head to the stand and modifier, rather than using the foot, is a good option.

A practical solution is to use a flash bracket that clamps the speedlight by the body/head instead of relying on the shoe foot.

A bracket such as the Godox S2-type style mounts to a light stand and holds the flash securely, while also giving you a way to attach modifiers. This avoids the fit problem between Sony’s multi-interface foot and standard ISO cold-shoe adapters.

So rather than looking for a special Sony-foot shoe adapter, use a speedlight bracket designed to grip the flash itself. That’s typically the simplest and most secure approach for off-camera use.
