Why are only full-stop ISO values selectable on my Canon 7D Mark II?

On my Canon 7D Mark II, only ISO values like 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200, 6400, 12800, and 16000 are available, while the in-between ISO settings appear greyed out. Is something wrong with the camera, and how do I enable the other ISO steps?

Check advanced options to see if ISO step is in 1... if it is, change it to 1/2 or 1/3 as needed.

Nothing is wrong with the camera. Your 7D Mark II is likely set to use 1-stop ISO increments, which only allows full-stop values such as 100, 200, 400, and so on. The intermediate ISO settings are greyed out because they’re disabled by that menu option.
Change the ISO increment setting in the camera’s Custom Functions menu:
C.Fn I: Exposure → ISO speed setting increments
Set it from 1-stop to 1/3-stop (or 1/2-stop, if available) to make the in-between ISO values selectable again.
The 7D Mark II is highly configurable, so this behavior is normal when that setting has been changed.
