Looking for a light, slim, discreet tripod for on-the-go shooting

I want a tripod that is lightweight, slender, and easy to carry so I can set it up quickly while moving around. I’d also prefer something that doesn’t draw much attention in public compared with a large, bulky tripod. Are there any good options for this, or is there another type of support that would work better?

Have you tried a monopod? They basically look like walking sticks and are faster to set up than a tripod if you're going to be moving about with it a lot.

If discretion and speed matter most, a monopod may be a better fit than a tripod. It’s lighter, slimmer, and quicker to set up, so it works well when you’re moving around and want support without attracting much attention. Monopods also tend to look less conspicuous in public—more like a walking stick than a full tripod. If your main goal is easy mobility and fast shooting on the fly, that’s likely the best option to consider.
