I want to use a Yongnuo YN560-TX radio transmitter on a Canon EOS 2000D. The camera has a standard hot shoe with a center contact. Will the YN560-TX work on this camera, and are there any limitations I should be aware of?

Yes. The Canon EOS 2000D has a standard hot shoe with a center firing pin, so a Yongnuo YN560-TX can trigger compatible Yongnuo 560-series radio flashes and receivers.
The main limitation is that this setup is manual-only. The YN560-TX system is designed for manual flash control, not Canon TTL metering. That means you can remotely fire supported flashes and adjust manual settings such as power/zoom on compatible units, but you should not expect E-TTL automation.
As long as your flash or receiver is part of the Yongnuo 560 radio system, the transmitter should work normally on the 2000D.
