How do I get Sony PlayMemories transfers onto my iPhone Camera Roll/Photos library?

I can transfer images from my Sony a6300 to the PlayMemories Mobile app on iPhone, but I don’t see an obvious way to save them into the iPhone Photos library. The app lets me share by message, email, etc., but I want the imported images to appear in Photos without extra steps. Is there a setting I need to enable, and where should I look for the imported images on iOS?

The iOS version of PlayMemories is supposed to automatically save imported photos to the iOS camera roll. My best guess for why this isn't happening on your device is that you have not granted the app access to your photos. To give PlayMemories access, go to your iOS Settings > Privacy > Photos > and switch on "PlayMemories Mobile".
From then on it should save them automatically, but I don't know of any way to retroactively save the photos already imported.

Yes. On iPhone, PlayMemories Mobile is supposed to save imported photos directly into the iOS Photos library, but it needs permission first.
Check:
- Settings > Privacy > Photos
- Enable access for PlayMemories Mobile
After that, newly imported images should save automatically.
Also, don’t just check the main Photos view. Imported files may appear in a separate album called “PlayMemories Mobile” inside the Photos app under the Albums tab.
If you transferred images before granting photo access, they may not be saved retroactively, so you may need to import them again.
