Can Darktable delete both RAW and JPEG files when they are auto-grouped?

I import RAW+JPEG pairs into Darktable, which auto-groups them. During culling I use grouped view so I only review one image per pair. If I reject a photo with R, only the selected file in the group gets marked, so when I later trash rejected images, the matching JPEG or RAW remains. Is there a way to reject or delete the entire group automatically in Darktable?

Currently, as far as I know, there isn't. There's an issue filed years ago about this, you could bump it up for renewed discussion, since it seems to have some support.

No—based on current Darktable behavior, rejecting an image does not automatically reject or delete the other files in its group. In practice, grouped RAW+JPEG pairs are not trashed together just because one member is marked rejected. There has been a feature request/discussion about this, but as described in the community answer, Darktable does not currently provide an automatic “reject/delete whole group” option.
