Tips and Tricks for Birds in Flight with Melissa Groo
Get the keys to how Melissa successfully captures birds in flight, including optimal camera settings, lenses, understanding and predicting bird behavior, reading wind and light conditions, and more.

Photowalk at Cape May Point
Join Melissa, Bobby, and Sony for a golden hour photowalk where you’ll capture the spectacular migration of raptors and shorebirds. Expect a diverse range of species including hawks, falcons, eagles, terns, egrets, herons, skimmers, warblers, and more! [+ SONY LOANERS AVAILABLE]

Photowalk at Higbee Beach

How I Turned This Into a Career with Melissa Groo
Learn how Melissa got her start in bird photography, what she did to learn and improve, how she won the National Audubon Society's annual photo contest, and how she went on to become an assignment photographer for Smithsonian and Audubon magazines. Get inspired!

2pm - 6pm
From Birds and Butterflies + Photowalk with Ken Hubbard
Whether you enjoy photographing birds in flight, small bugs and butterflies or larger mammals such as Bison, this seminar is for you. Ken will go over the many techniques that will help you capture the images you want in addition to camera settings, composition, and looking for that good light. After the seminar, we'll head outside for a photowalk with Ken and Tamron! [+ TAMRON LOANERS AVAILABLE]

Photowalk at Cape May Meadows
Join Ken, Bobby, and Tamron for a morning photowalk at South Cape May Meadows, a beautifully preserved sanctuary dedicated to native and migratory birds. This unique location offers pristine landscapes and diverse habitats, perfect for capturing stunning images in the morning light. Sunset Boat Tour on the Osprey
Board the Osprey with Ken, Bobby, and Tamron for a unique opportunity to tour and photograph wildlife on the coastal salt marsh behind Cape May and the Wildwoods! [+ TAMRON LOANERS AVAILABLE]

Ken Hubbard
is a professional photographer and the Field Services Manager for Tamron. He travels the world capturing images of landscapes, wildlife, small towns, cities and people – basically anything that is framed inside his viewfinder. Ken teaches and leads workshops on all aspects of photography.

Melissa Groo
is a wildlife photographer, writer, and conservationist. She’s a Sony Artisan of Imagery and an Associate Fellow with the International League of Conservation Photographers (ILCP). Melissa also acts as an advisor to the National Audubon Society on photography content and ethics.

Bobby Stormer
is an award-winning and published wildlife photographer. He has volunteered for wildlife rehabilitation rescues, dog rescues, and conservation efforts, and credits this experience as instrumental to his success in reading animal behaviors, tracking wildlife, and capturing those treasured moments.
