Overview
The Zoom SGH-6 Shotgun Microphone Capsule is specifically for use with the H6 handheld recorder from Zoom. It produces a super-cardioid polar pattern that is independent of frequency via its three internal microphones. The hairy windscreen of this capsule efficiently cuts out the wind noise to provide clearer audio. It enables highly directional pickup even though it is only half the length of a standard shotgun microphone. The integrated 5 V preamplifier in this capsule provides a low-distortion audio output even at loud volumes.
