OVERVIEW
510 is an award-winning developer. Jay DeFehr devised Pyro, a new pyro developer for black and white film.
It has an extraordinary fine grain, sharpness, a shelf life of more than 6 years, a maximum image stain, a minimal general stain, and is suited for rotary processors. This developer's stain provides exceptional shadow recovery in direct digitization of negatives, amazing highlight separation for darkroom printing, and increased highlight density when employing UV-based alt process printing processes.
This developer is also very cost effective since it uses extremely dilute working solutions ranging from 1:100 to 1:500.
