The Zeiss Otus T* 100mm f/1.4 ZE Lens was designed as an addition to the Otus series, which now features a new telephoto focal length. The Otus T* 100mm features low sample variation, remarkable imaging performance, & a superior physical design. The Otus series lenses all feature an uncompromising performance, allowing them to stand out among the others. Though this lens was developed for 35mm full-frame Nikon Cameras, you are able to experience the quality and appearance of a medium-format system. Whether you are shooting in the studio, or on location, the Otus T* 100mm provides high resolution images with excellent sharpness (Even at max. aperture of f/1.4). The lens features a pleasant "bokeh" quality when shooting portrait or product photography. Its apochromatic lens design features aspherical lenses & special glass, preventing almost all aberrations. Its high quality coating helps to produce high contrast images, even when shooting against the light (also minimizes lens flare).

Other Features:

The Zeiss Otus T* 100mm is an apochromat, which means chromatic aberrations are corrected by using elements of special glass (with anomalous partial dispersion).
The Otus T* 100mm is also designed with the correction of lateral chromatic aberration, which removes the aberrations in images taken at night.
In order to avoid experiencing color fringing, the Otus T* 100mm is designed with extremely low longitudinal chromatic aberration.
In order to capture an organic image, with clarity of fine detail, the Otus T* 100mm utilizes the full potential of its high-resolution sensors.
Featuring an aspherical lens design, the Otus T* 100mm provides a consistent imaging performance throughout the focusing range, & maintains sharpness as well.
