The manual focus design of this lens lets you focus on your subject in a more precise manner. The weather-sealed construction of this all-metal lens barrel makes it dust- and moisture-proof. Also, the lens barrel has an anodized, frosted surface, as well as a rubberized focusing ring that promises tactile control.
