Overview
This Zeiss Milvus 35mm f/1.4 ZE Lens features a Distagon-type optical design that reduces chromatic and spherical aberrations to offer edge-to-edge clarity. The lens is made for Canon EF mount cameras. It includes 14 optical elements arranged in 11 groups that have 5 anomalous partial dispersion elements and a single aspherical glass element. A Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating is given to the lens elements to reduce ghosting and lens flare. The manual focus system can be used to take a detailed shot of an object as close as 30 cm. Additionally, there are laser-engraved DOF and focusing scales with IR position dot and hard stops at infinity and minimum focusing points. The metal barrel has a frosted and anodized surface to ensure comfortable handling in freezing weather. Also, the lens comes with weather-sealing to keep moisture and dust outside.
