The Ricoh R1 35mm Point and Shoot is an easy-to-use camera that makes capturing wide panoramic shots an effortless task. It comes with a Ricoh lens that has a 30mm focal length and a maximum aperture of f/3.5. The camera takes pictures on a 35mm film roll, in an image area of 24×36mm for standard and 12×36mm for masked panoramic shots. It uses dual silicon photodiodes for exposure metering. The program exposure mode decides the appropriate setting for both shutter and aperture. The shutter speed of the camera can be adjusted between 2 and 1/400th of a second. Additionally, for hassle-free shooting in low-light areas, this camera features a built-in flash that works in conjunction with the shutter. The parallax correction markers in the viewfinder assist you in the composition of your shots.
