Convert a Canon EF-mount to a Sony E-mount with this nifty Mark IV Adapter from Metabones. It initiates a true electronic integration of the aperture diaphragm, which means that your camera can automatically choose the aperture in the P or S exposure modes, or dial in yourself on the camera body in the A or M modes. Since the camera body itself powers this adapter, no external power source is required. The wide open button, located opposite the depth-of-field preview function, makes manual focusing an easy task. The adapter’s tripod foot is detachable and can be used with Markins, Arca Swiss, and Photo Cam ball heads. Additional features in this adapter include an efficient switched-mode power supply and a high-performance 32-bit processor.
