It has an interchangeable lens design, and can, therefore, be used with other Minolta MC lenses. The camera has a Contrast Light Compensation (CLC) metering system and a maximum ISO range up to 6400. It has a horizontal focal plane shutter that can function at a high speed of 1/1000th of a second. Additional features in the camera include a hot shoe and a depth-of-field preview button.
Optics and Focus
The SRT SC-II SLR comes with the Rokkor-x 50m f/2 lens, which is made with six elements in five groups. The camera has a Contrast Light Compensator metering system. It reduces excess brightness in the image to address the issue of overexposure. The camera has an ISO limit of 6400 and its shutter can work at the highest speed of 1/1000th of a second. The Minolta SRT SC-II uses a micro prism for focusing.
Sensor and Screen
The Minolta SRT SC-II SLR Camera has a pentaprism viewfinder that offers a bright view of the scene. The current exposure setting and shutter speed are also displayed in the viewfinder.
Image and Video
The classic SRT SC-II SLR camera from Minolta uses 135 film rolls to produce 24×36mm photos.
Other Features
The Minolta SRT SC-II comes with a hot shoe for electronic flashes, both wireless and otherwise, which provide X synchronization. With the depth-of-field preview button, you can get a glimpse of what the final image will be. The camera's metering system runs on a 1.35 V button battery.
