Overview
The Sekonic L-308X-U Flashmate Light Meter proves its usefulness in when metering ambient or flash lighting. It has a sliding lumisphere that makes the meter measure the incident or reflected light through a lens with a reception angle of 40°. The Sekonic L-308X-U Flashmate offers a metering range from 0 to 19.9 EV at ISO 100. It can work in low exposures from 1/8000th up to 60 seconds. Also, the meter comes with a flash range of f/1.0 to f/90.9 at ISO 100. The photo mode provides aperture and shutter priority metering options while the Cine mode lets you select 8 to 128 fps frame rates. You can use the HD Cine mode when recording videos with DSLR or mirrorless cameras. The LCD screen can be customized to display relevant information to your liking. Also, the back-lit design ensures a comfortable view in dark conditions below 5 EV. You can measure the flash with the PC sync terminal or cordless metering function.
