This microphone delivers high audio quality and also handles a high amount of audio pressure. The TM-2X mic is the same as those used in highly regarded DR series recorders. This Tascam microphone has a high performance rating and frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz. It can handle huge sound pressures of up to 120 dB SP, which prevents distortion even in loud scenarios. It can be directly plugged in to your DSLR with the built in stereo mini plug output. The output can be set in two levels according to the compatibility with a variety of cameras. It also features noise isolation arm that helps in reducing lens operation noise. The onboard Low Cut filter eliminates unwanted low frequency sounds.
