High-speed sync support enables shutter speeds up to 1/80,000 second, making it ideal for capturing fast action and shooting in changing light conditions.

The flash features multiple shooting modes, including TTL, Manual, Multi, High-Speed Sync, Rear-Sync, and Slow-Sync, along with a built-in modeling lamp for improved preview and control. Wireless radio triggering works from distances up to 98.4 feet, while integration with compatible Sony camera face-detection systems helps maintain accurate exposure and white balance. Power is supplied by four AA alkaline or Ni-MH batteries for reliable, long-lasting operation.
