Overview
The Sigma 56mm F1.4 Contemporary DC DN Lens boasts a wide aperture and a silent focusing motor to support both photo and video capture. Built for Sony E-mount cameras, the lens construction has 10 elements in 6 groups. There are two aspherical and a single SLD element to correct chromatic and spherical aberrations. A Super Multi-Layer Coating is applied to minimize ghosting and firmware. The stepping AF motor ensures fast, accurate, and silent autofocus performance. With the maximum aperture of f/1.4, you can use the lens in low light conditions. The rounded 9-blade diaphragm enhances the overall depth of field. This Sigma prime lens has a brass mount and rubber sealing to complete its durable design.
