The Sigma 24–35mm T2.2 Fully Luminous FF Zoom Lens ensures cinematic results in different lighting conditions. Compatible with Sony E-mount cameras, the lens covers an image circle of a Super 35mm-size sensor. The lens gives full control of the focus, zoom, and iris. Moreover, the luminous feet scale markings allow accurate adjustment where visibility is low. The focus and zoom rings turn up to 180° and 160°, respectively. You can adjust the aperture during the take smoothly with the click-less iris ring. Each control ring has a built-in dampener that absorbs the metallic noise when you turn it till the end. All three rings have a cine-standard 0.8 Mod gear pitch that allows you to attach different accessories such as a follow focus unit. The 9-blade diaphragm creates a pleasant bokeh quality to highlight the foreground subject. Moreover, the maximum T-stop value of 2.2 offers fast reading to speed up the exposure process and provide shallow depth of field. Different matte boxes can be fixed to the 95mm front diameter of the lens. The front thread attaches 82mm circular filters. This Sigma lens is built from sturdy metal and has weather sealing to prevent dust and moisture from reaching the interior.
