overview
The Sigma 24–35mm T2.2 FF Zoom Lens provides powerful optical performance and various customizable options that make it ideal for professional filmmaking. Compatible with Sony E-mount cameras, the lens covers an image circle of a Super 35mm-size sensor. The lens gives full control of the focus, zoom, and iris. Moreover, the focus and zoom control rings are accompanied by scale markings in Metric units. You can turn the focus and zoom rings up to 180° and 160°, respectively. With the clickless iris ring, the aperture can be adjusted during the take without experiencing any unwanted sounds or jerks. All three control rings have dampeners that absorb the metallic noise when they hit the end limit. These rings have cine-standard 0.8 Mod gears that accept a follow focus unit and other similar accessories. The 9-blade diaphragm creates a cinematic bokeh quality. With the maximum T-stop value of 2.2, you can use the lens in low light. Different matte boxes can be fixed to the lens' 95mm front diameter, while the front thread attaches 82mm circular filters. This Sigma lens is constructed from sturdy metal and shielded with moisture- and dust-resistant sealing.
