To accept long shotgun microphones, such as the Rode NTG8 or any shotgun with a barrel up to 23.6" long, add the Rode Long Shotgun Blimp Extension Kit to your existing Rode Blimp windshield and shockmount system. The 10.4" blimp extension component is made of molded plastic, which ensures durability and light weight. It comes with an extra-long DeadWombat fur windshield that successfully suppresses wind noise when recording outside.
