Different from the DSLR or CMOS scanners using area sensors with Bayer patterns to simulate RGB, it is true RGB linear array CCD, which provides high-quality scanning at space and color intensity resolution.

Compared with the previous generation model 7250u, the scanning speed of the negative film is 2.1 times faster and that of the positive film is 1.7 times faster.
