The Nikon WT-7 Wireless Transmitter is a versatile accessory that not only transfers files from the Nikon D500 camera wirelessly but also controls it remotely via WiFi within a range of 656 feet. It features five different modes: Camera Control, Access Point, HTTP Server, FTP Upload, and Image Transfer Mode. The HTTP Server mode comes in handy for controlling the camera remotely via an Android or iOS-based smartphone or tablet. The Image Transfer Mode allows you to transfer images from the camera to a computer and vice-versa at a rate of 130 Mbps. Also, the FTP Upload Mode lets you transfer videos and pictures instantly from the camera to an FTP server or just upload images as they are captured.
