Overview

Print up to 800 4 x 6-inch, high-quality photos from your DS40 digital photo printer, with the DNP 4 x 6-inch Print Pack. It contains two ribbons and two rolls of dye-sublimation paper, each of which is long enough to print up to 400 photos, thus taking the total number of prints to 800. The dye-sublimation process used by both these paper rolls follows a printing technique that diffuses dye in the form of a ribbon onto paper. Once heat is applied, the dye is converted into gas that is absorbed by the paper’s special receiving layer. The dye layers are sealed into the paper, and the image is protected from elements such as fingerprints, UV light, and water. The prints are dry and ready to touch as soon as they leave the printer, so there is no running, smudging, or blotching on the pages.
