Overview
The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter allows you to connect an HDMI consumer device such as television to SDI 6G professional video equipment. It converts an HDMI signal to SD, HD, 3G, and 6G-SDI signals. This converter provides a resolution of DCI 4K at 24 fps and UHD 4K at 60 fps. The converter has two ports for the 6G-SDI output for transmitting duplicate signals. You may embed the audio into the signal via the HDMI input or the two 1/4-inch input jacks that have an AES/EBU digital audio and 2-channel analog support. The converter can be operated using the onboard controls or through software by connecting the unit to your system via USB. You may also update the firmware with the USB port. This Blackmagic Design converter is compatible with Mac OS X or Windows systems. Plug in the included 12V power supply cable to function the converter. Various international adapters are provided for the worldwide use of the unit.
