OVERVIEW
Bigger Than You Think…
Albert 2.0 is a travel tripod system with a huge upgrade. Following in the footsteps of his predecessor Albert, Albert 2.0 is compact enough for air transport, but powerful enough to hold any camera. Not only is he capable of extending over 1.8m / 6 ft, a unique ability in the world of travel tripods, he also boasts a removable center column, becoming an invaluable tool for macro work.
Not one, not two, but three
Albert 2.0’s unique modular construction, with three detachable legs, allows for a multitude of configurations including monopod, low-level and table-top tripod, enabling use for even the most niche of applications.
The tallest, smallest tripod in the world
A limitation of most travel tripods is height and stability, due to the number of sections required to make it compact, but Albert 2.0’s unique center column, and 3 Legged Thing's Parallel Locking system take this travel tripod to great heights without compromising stability
Optimized for heavy loads
Albert 2.0’s unique design enables load capabilities of up to 30kg / 66lbs. With weight-balanced locks to lower the center of gravity, Albert 2.0 is the industry benchmark for travel tripod technology.
Travel Optimized
Albert 2.0 folds to just 43.1 / 16.9 in, enabling transport in hand/cabin luggage and other smaller bags.
Modular functionality
Not only a tripod, Albert 2.0 can also be used as a light stand, a stabilized monopod, table-top tripod, or for macro set-ups thanks to his 3 detachable legs.
Max Load to Weight Ratio of 16:1
Albert 2.0 is capable of supporting loads up to 16 times his weight. With a 30kg payload, Albert 2.0 is one of the most powerful travel tripods in the world.
Parallel Locking
3 Legged Thing's unique Parallel Locking system provides better leverage, and greater rigidity, without the hassle of accidental disassembly.
Multiple Mounting Points
Our patented Tri-Mount plate offers multiple threaded connections and three hollowed spurs for accessory attachments.
A Range of Footwear
Albert 2.0 comes with detachable rubber Bootz, which can be replaced with any of our footwear accessories, for maximum stability on any terrain.
