OVERVIEW

The lightweight Mars 400S PRO SDI/HDMI Wireless Video Transmission System from Hollyland adds up to 1080p60 wireless video transmission to any gimbal, mirrorless, or DSLR camera system. Both the transmitter and the receiver include HDMI and SDI inputs and outputs. It has 0.1s latency and line-of-sight transmission up to 400' to the receiver and 300' to the Hollyview Wi-Fi app. The system includes two external antennas on the transmitter and two on the receiver for a strong line-of-sight signal, as well as one spare.

With transmission distances of up to 400ft and latency of less than 0.1ds.The transmission stays uninterrupted even if the studio is as big as a soccer field and you can see the video immediately from far away.

SDI and HDMI Dual Ports

With the classic SDI and HDMI dual ports, you can choose either port for input or output, and there is no need to use the same type of ports for both input and outputs. Whether it is a DSLR, Mirrorless, or professional camera you can connect it to the input directly. You can send output with both the SDI and HMI ports at the same time. The system supports video transmission between more shooting and monitoring devices, meeting the shooting needs of both small teams and professional users.

3 Cooling Modes Available

3 Cooling modes available: Auto, Low, and Off. The higher the fan speed, the lower the temperate of the device casing. The fan produces very low noise (max. noise level 55dB). You can choose a mode that meets the needs of the shoot itself.

 

• Auto Mode:The fan speed is adjusted according to the temperature of the device. The higher the temperature, the higher the speed, to ensure rapid heat dissipation of the device.
• Low Mode:The fan speed is reduced to a minimum, and the fan noise is minimal.
• Off Mode:The fan is completely turned off to totally eliminate fan noise. Use this mode when you need to be absolutely quiet on set.

 

1 Transmitter, 2 Receivers, and Monitoring Made Easy

One transmitter can work with up to two receivers. So, the system allows two parties (directors, investors, lighting control etc) on the shooting site to simultaneously monitor the shots with high picture quality at 12mbps and ultra-low latency. Using the system even a big production or livestreaming team can collaborate efficiently.

Intelligent Channel Scan

Smart channel scan can be activated with a single key press. You can find out which channels are occupied at a glance, and select any interference-free channel for connection. Just rest assured that you have stable, interference-free transmission

Note: The Optimum Channel is automatically selected after startup and no manual selection is required.

Multiple Power Supply Options

Power can be supplied by an NP-F battery, power bank, USB charger with a Type-C plug, or the DC Adapter. Multiple power supply options means that you can ensure continuous power supply in all types of situations.

Easy Monitoring via Mobile Devices

the system supports monitoring with an app on a phone or tablet. The app acts like a little monitor and provides 9 auxiliary features such as a brightness histogram, frame marketing, and zooming. Any additional monitoring persons required temporarily can directly connect to the app without installation. This offers more convenience on the shoot. You can even connect up to 4 phones or tablets for monitoring ata the same time.
