Why doesn’t SnapBridge show photos taken after image 9999 on my Nikon Coolpix B500?

I’m using a Nikon Coolpix B500 with SnapBridge to transfer photos to my phone. After the camera reached image 9999, it continued taking photos normally and I can still view those newer images on the camera. However, in SnapBridge I only see the first 9999 photos, and the later ones do not appear for transfer. How can I access and transfer the photos taken after 9999?

In the snapbridge app, when you click on the download photos menu, There is a display setting that can be selected to choose which folder to display ( or it can be set to display ALL folders.) It is in the same setting menu, where you choose whether to display the RAW files or the JPEG files.
If after the 9999th image , the camera created a new folder and the display setting does not include that folder, then it wont be displayed.
To be safe, i have kept the setting at "display all folders" .I would suggest you do the same if you have not done that

After image 9999, the camera likely started saving new photos in a new folder on the memory card. Cameras commonly do this inside the DCIM directory when file numbering rolls over. If SnapBridge is only set to show one folder, it may not display the newer images.
In SnapBridge, go to the photo download/view settings and check the display options for folders. Set it to show all folders, or manually select the newer folder if that option is available. This is typically in the same area where you choose whether to show JPEG or RAW files.
If the app is only showing the original folder, the post-9999 images won’t appear even though they’re on the camera. Setting SnapBridge to display all folders should let you see and transfer them.
