Where are .lfp files stored when importing from a Lytro camera?

I bought a used Lytro camera and can find lots of documentation about extracting data from .lfp files, but I couldn't locate the actual files from my own camera after importing into Lytro Desktop. The app lets me export .lfr files, which don't seem to work with the extraction tools I found. Where does Lytro Desktop store the original .lfp files after import?

They're in the pictures folder.
Under lytro desktop.
It was something that was just so obvious nobody wrote it down.

The .lfp files are typically stored in the Pictures folder under the Lytro Desktop library location. In other words, check your Pictures directory for the Lytro Desktop folder and look there for the imported files.
If you’re only seeing exported .lfr files, that’s likely because export creates a different file type than the original imported light-field files. The answer from the community indicates the original .lfp files are in the Pictures > Lytro Desktop area.
