What’s the difference between Lightroom Classic, Lightroom CC, and Lightroom on my PC?

I subscribe to Adobe’s Photography plan and found multiple Lightroom apps installed on my PC: Lightroom Classic CC, Lightroom CC, and Lightroom. I understand Lightroom CC is the newer multi-platform/cloud-focused app, but it seems to have fewer features than the traditional desktop version. What is the difference between Lightroom Classic and Lightroom/older Lightroom, and why might they appear to use different catalogs? Which one should I use?

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC is a cloud-based service with desktop and mobile applications and cloud storage.
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic CC is a standalone desktop application earlier known as Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.
I can't tell the different between Adobe Lightroom classic and Adobe Lightroom
It's generally the same product, but Classic CC is a newer version and you have to subscribe for a monthly plan in order to use its editing functions.
I got 2 seemingly classic versions that point to different catalogs...
Lightroom does not "point" to any catalog. It opens a catalog and works with it. Open another catalog and it will "point" to that.

Generated from our catalog & community — verify before relying on it.
Adobe renamed the older desktop Lightroom to Lightroom Classic CC. So Lightroom Classic CC is essentially the continuation of the original desktop app formerly called Lightroom. That’s why you may see both names on your PC—one may just be an older executable or install.
Lightroom CC is the newer cloud-focused version, designed to work across desktop and mobile with Adobe cloud syncing. It generally has a simpler feature set than Classic.
About catalogs: Lightroom doesn’t permanently “point” to one catalog in the way you may think—it opens whichever catalog you choose. If the apps seem to use different catalogs, they’re likely just opening different catalog files.
If you want the fuller traditional desktop workflow and the version Adobe continues to maintain for advanced features, use Lightroom Classic CC. If you want cloud syncing and cross-device use, use Lightroom CC. Many users keep Classic as their main editor and use CC mainly for syncing.
