What software can automatically correct lens distortion using camera and lens metadata?

I’m looking for Windows software that can read the metadata in a photo (such as camera model and focal length) and automatically apply lens distortion correction with little or no manual setup. Photoshop CS5 has an automatic feature, but its supported camera/lens list seems limited. Are there dedicated programs that do this, and do any camera manufacturers include this in their own software?

Lightroom does this for selected lenses, or you can create your own profile if your lens isn't listed.
This blog post explains how this works, both with respect to the built-in profiles, adjusting manually, or creating your own with Adobe's software utility.

Yes. Some photo software can use image metadata plus built-in lens profiles to automatically correct distortion.
From the answers:
- Adobe Lightroom supports automatic lens correction for supported lenses, and also allows manual adjustment or creating your own lens profile if yours isn’t included.
- DxO Optics Pro is a dedicated option known for lens/camera correction based on profiles.
- Canon Digital Photo Professional (DPP) can do this for Canon cameras, and Nikon’s equivalent software may offer similar correction as well.
A key limitation is that this usually depends on whether the software has a matching profile for your specific camera/lens combination. If no profile exists, some programs let you adjust manually or build a custom one.
