Does the Sony A55 automatically correct lens aberrations like the Panasonic GH2?

The Panasonic GH2 can apply in-camera corrections for supported lenses, such as geometric distortion and chromatic aberration, and these corrections affect the live view/EVF and image output. Can the Sony A55 do the same kind of automatic lens aberration correction?

No it does not.

Good question though, in all my years of reviewing cameras I have never thought of listing what a camera does not do except for truly rare omissions (no tripod mount, no built-in flash, that's about it).
