Can Aperture correct lens distortion from a Nikon 55-200mm DX lens?

I photographed a sculpture and the straight lines look slightly bent, likely from lens distortion. I’m processing the RAW file in Apple Aperture and expected it might use lens data to correct this automatically. Does Aperture include built-in lens distortion correction for a Nikon 55-200mm DX lens, and if not, how can I fix it?

Unfortunately, Aperture doesn't have built in automatic lens distortion- you need to buy the plugin PTLens, ~$25.

Aperture does not provide built-in automatic lens distortion correction for this. If the bent lines are caused by lens distortion, you’ll need a separate correction tool or plugin rather than relying on Aperture alone. One option mentioned is PTLens, which is designed to correct lens distortion.
